The Wingstreet brand needed a new to-go container for their wings that would not only improve on their existing packaging but also solve a space issue. The steel bowls used in the kitchen to sauce their wings were big and took up a lot of valuable space, Wingstreet needed a to-go package that would let them sauce the wings in the to-go container saving time and kitchen space.
The final product is a nod to those same large mixing bowls. The tight seal and carefully placed hand grip areas mean the wings and sauce can be safely tossed in the package, thoroughly coating the wings, without any leakage. This also has the benefit of making the container leek-proof for the customer and retain more heat than the previous packaging. The raised section in the containers bottom keeps the wings separated from the extra sauce meaning they'll be crispy every time.
The to-go container is now in use at Wingstreet locations across the nation.
New packaging scheme for a wing based fast food brand. This design replaced the previous cardboard packaged which leaked and offered poor insulation. More importantly this package let the restaurant streamline operations by using the packaging as the sauce mixing bowl saving time and kitchen space.
